Well...
After 6 years of LegatoCafe, the time has come to say goodbye.
A number of us have decided to move on, and to persue other things for a hobby. It's has been fun, but the reality of Independent Internet Radio today is that it is something cool if you want to spin some tunes to friends, but trying to grow it into something better than just that is extremely difficult, if not impossible. Since starting up again, we've spent thousands of dollars keeping the station running, but have not even broken even at least to make it worth the time for much longer. We had fun, but it isn't fun watching the funds fly out the door.
So, on that note, July 18th at 11:59 PM (ish) we will play our lasat song, and flip the switch off.
Leading up to that, we're going to have some fun, so join Brother James at 2PM for what he has in store for you, then I step in at 6PM, and will DJ all the way to the end when I flip the station off.
It's been a great run, and thanks to those of you who were great supporters of what we do. You guys were the reason we didn't just throw in the towel a long time ago!
